BICB27, with IAIS 709-713-700-405-603 for power, pulls a string of empties up the Atlantic Spur for spotting at Harlan Elevator.  IAIS 713 and 700 were both dead, being moved to CB for initial setup after having just been completed at Mid America Car in KC. 12/29/04

After tying down the empties, BICB's power runs around them on the elevator track, returning to their train back on the mainline at Atlantic.  Note the elevator's switcher on the pocket track to the left.

IAIS 709 emerges from under the loading spout at Hancock Elevator, where BICB has stopped to pull seven loads from the tail track that extends north from the elevator.

BICB passes south of Bentley, just east of Peter.  IAIS' colorful paint scheme is a nice contrast to the barren Winter landscape of western Iowa.
