The IAIS yard in Iowa City looking east from the Dodge Street Bridge. I'm unsure of the exact date, but I think it was early 1984 before the IAIS possession.

7966, later 466. The early days of changing a traction motor. I don't remember all the detail of the trolley, but there was a removeable section of track which would allow the truck assembly to be slid out for access to the motor. Also, look at the background (looking east from the northeast corner of the engine house just off of Webster Street). No track five or office building. Late March 1985.

8036 (436) in it's original new paint and 4-digit number works the Iowa City yard on 14-Feb-1986. Of interest is the red hexagon herald, frog eye headlamps, and the red lense on the lower upper headlight, and of course, the "standard" duct tape over the cab vent.

403, 464, ex-Milwaukee GP-20 962, and 466 cross the Iowa River Bridge in February 1989. I wonder if the guy fishing under the bridge ever thought his picture would be on the internet almost twenty years later?
