I've always liked this spot and had hopes of getting to the overpass on the other side for the Westbound on Tuesday, but luck wasn't on our side. I heard the meet going down at Earlham while we were making our way out of the Des Moines area and I knew it would be close. Too close in fact, and I was within 30 seconds of missing this shot too; just slowed down and pulled to the shoulder while shooting through the windshield...
