Album: IAIS 628 - GP38AC

Engineer's side view of the 628. Although only the front of the unit was repainted in 2004, the rest was thoroughly washed, so I kept weathering to a minimum - some rust stains along the frame, a few small patches along the hood band in the road name, and some dust along the long hood walkway surface. This view also shows the two additional exhaust stacks 628 received in her 2004 reconditioning.
