- All of IAIS's ES44ACs were built to CSX's ES44AH "heavy" specification at 432,000 lbs, and includes the high traction software modifications.
- Unit was shipped from Erie, PA, in primer in late August 2008. It was painted into IAIS phase V paint at Mid-America Car in Kansas City, MO, during October 2008.
- 507 arrived on IAIS and placed in service on 26 Sep 2008.
