Geometry Train

In June of 2005, the IAIS borrowed one of Canadian Pacific's Geometry Trains to check the status of the railroad's roadbed. The train was interchanged to the IAIS from the IC&E at Davenport and taken to Peoria where it ran out to Council Bluffs before returning to the IC&E at Davenport.
CP 8217 and the Geometry Train lay over for the weekend in Rock Island, IL next to IAIS 712 and 626 early in the morning on June 4, 2005.
