Bill's at the throttle of his final trip as his oldest son waves to his dad. Bill has been a family friend of my dad's since high school and it was pretty cool to experience such an improtant milestone in his life.

After Bill arrived at Burr Oak with CBBI, a amateur fire works display was put on by the BISW crew before taking over the switching duties, while Bill joined the rest of his family and friends inside the yard office for a celebration and commemoration of his years of service on the Rock Island and Iowa Interstate. The yard master hands Bill a plaque dedicating it to his years of service.
