Atlas H.O. scale RS-36 high nose is base unit

  • Sectioned nose to correct height
  • Made new front, windows and door area
  • Cab area from styrene and Detail Associates #229-4502
  • Numberboard and light package contoured to cab roof
  • Resize weight under new short hood
  • Screen behind cab revised with scale screen and surrounded with styrene strip

Details

  • Cables, chains, etc. from parts/junk box
  • Kadee Couplers
  • Floral wire to represent hoses around couplers
  • Piano wire bent for windshield wipers

Painting

  • Floquil black paint with white added to tone down black
  • Decals from supplier no longer in business
  • Floquil weathering paints, the usual around vents and along trucks
